This place was fantastic! A nice country feel, and friendly service makes for a great atmosphere! Good portions and very cheap prices. Subs can be deep fried and the burgers are good size too. The ham and cheese sub deep fried with cranberry sauce makes a good "monty-cristo" style sandwich. Prices are fantastic with the most expensive meal beign an 11 steak. But don't let it fool you. Portions are great size! Subs run around 6, hot dogs are about 2-3, and burgers are about 5, other sandwhices can be as low as 2! Cur fries with cheese are fantastic! Great experience and fantastic service.

Very tasty food. I had a burger and fries and it was fresh and filling. Friendly service and a clean bathroom too. If you're not from Mullens, you'll feel like a movie star because everyone will be staring at you!

Food was excellent! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of home cooking you're about to receive. But before you go, make sure they're open cause they are unfortunately closed one or two days a week. Other than that the place is perfect!! 5 's ...

Our riding group ate breakfast there on 11/5,6/21 and the food and service were great!!!! We met a few local folks and they were super friendly and offered us advice and directions on where to ride and how to get there best. We stayed at the highwater Inn and really enjoyed basing our ride out of there. The trails and sights to see in that area were wonderful and the leaves were beautiful!!!!! North Carolina will be back!!!!!!

I have visited the Second Street Station a few times. It's a small-town diner with good food and great people. Serving three meals a day and carry outs. They are laid-back folks serving good food and friendly service. Certainly worth a visit.

Waitress was very good....the chicken platter was amazing and broccoli bites was good as well.....definitely recommend trying!
